The company

“Hijos de Fco. Piernas S.L. is a company located in Baza (Granada). It begins the production of cold meat in 1983, created by traditional and expert butchers from 1966.

Throughout all these years the company has being growing up and adapting to the new market trends.

“Hijos de Fco. Piernas” works in different areas of the meat industry, from the traditional manufacture of sausages and hams to marketing on its own network of butchers and delicatessen shops.

In 2004 we launched to the market a new product: the round sandwich which is very traditional in our land but at the same time is very original abroad. Currently we produce 4 different types of round sandwiches.

In 2006 and 2007 we produce a new item, the ring shaped cake, according to our client request and always getting close cooperation with them.  

In 2008 the company starts to extend its facility and equipment, to be able to produce and storage our own bread. At this moment we were already planning the launch of our current main product, the Pizza.  

“Hijos de Fco. Piernas S.L. has new facilities and modern equipment. This allows us to develop our products and optimize our manufacturing processes. We handle the raw materials and store the final product under the strictest hygiene and quality control.

“Hijos de Fco. Piernas S.L.” is continuously expanding in the industry and in the market, so we are getting more and more popularity between both national and international companies.

We have grown up very fast in the latest years, thanks to the tenacity of all the workers and thanks to the cooperation with big clients.
